TVAS Consultant

Salary: £41,000 to £61,000

Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Purpose

Produce Transfer Value Analysis reports as requested by the Pension Transfer Specialists. Request, collate and analyse information from Defined Benefit schemes to ensure reports are completed in line with company Service Level Agreement.

Main Accountabilities

  • Responsibility for the compiling and processing of Transfer Value Analysis reports requested by the Pension Transfer Specialists
  • Completion of QA for peers
  • Act as a point of expertise for Partner’s, Sales Management, QRMs and the wider business to ensure that their needs are met
  • Undertake all aspects of the role in an ethical, compliant, diplomatic and professional manner

Key Activities

Alignment of Transfer Value Analysis (TVAS) process to Pension Regulation and Legislation, Financial Services market place and company changes.

Task Management

  • Ensure case targets and SLAs are achieved
  • Ensure consistency and quality of TVAS reports
  • Identify and champion improvements to Sales Process

Qualifications

The following qualification is essential:

  • Diploma (PFS)

The following qualifications are advantageous:

  • G60 or AF3 or Certificate in Pension Transfers
  • Chartered

Experience

The following experience is essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years within Financial Services
  • Dealing with difficult customer situations

The following experience is advantageous:

  • Leading change initiatives

Knowledge of the following is essential:

  • COBs product and sales process
  • COBs pensions regulation and legislation requirements
  • TCF
  • Data Protection
  • Financial Crime
