Assistant Technical Administrator

Rate: £12.09 p/hr

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Swindon

Contract: Temporary – 6 Months Weekly Paid

Main functions of the job

  • Provide administrative support to advisers through the delivery of a range of services
  • Provide support to the Team Manager and other members of the team, as required

Main Accountabilities

  • The role holder will have responsibility for checking that cases on which they work conform to the SAF and quality standards by working with the Adviser to guide them where appropriate
  • Build and maintain relationships with members of the AQT and LAT teams to ensure consistency of approach across all three teams
  • Provide expert input to Advisers using the service to ensure that the quality of the product and client outcome is maximised
  • Keeps technical, professional and product knowledge up to date and demonstrates relevant expertise
  • Be prepared to challenge and stand firm where appropriate
  • Undertake all aspects of the role in an ethical and compliant manner
  • Proactively build relationships with external parties to ensure that the services of the team are understood, and deadlines continually met.
  • Processing of invoices monthly for external contractors
  • Ensure records are kept up to date and accurate
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Experience in dealing with Advisers and Managers to understand their approach and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver tasks to the required business timescales

  • GCSE level or equivalent
  • Experience of Financial Services
  • Experience of customer contact desirable
