  • You have a passion for customer service – you understand what is important to your customers and suppliers. If there is an issue, as Workshop Manager, you will know just how to solve it.

WORKSHOP MANAGER DUTIES

  • To control the flow of work through the workshop in an efficient manner to ensure all work is completed by the date and time given to the customer.
  • Planning and supervision of the workshop flow to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor parts and servicing costs to maintain targeted budgets.
  • Work with the sales force to form a strong working relationship that benefits the consumer timelines.
  • Control parts stock levels to ensure stock parts are utilised effectively.

AFTERSALES MANAGER DUTIES

  • Manage and oversee the aftersales department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of aftersales activities.
  • To ensure all customer vehicles are fully repaired and serviced according to Manufacturer standards and within agreed time frames.
  • To communicate with the customer regarding the repairs and any additional work required, providing excellent customer service and duty of care
  • To have thorough knowledge of the complete product range and have knowledge of our competitors
  • To liaise with the workshop manager and ensure that all Technicians are doing their jobs effectively and confidently, collaborating as a team and ensure the Technicians are allocated to jobs according to skill set
  • To monitor and ensure that the completion of all service and repair paperwork is completed promptly, ensuring complete customer satisfaction
  • To ensure customer vehicles are handled with care whilst the responsibility of the Service Workshop and that all vehicles are cleaned and valeted ready for handover to customer at agreed time frames.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities
  • Encourage positive reviews whilst ensuring customer satisfaction is to a standard that negative reviews are avoided.
